Burdens are delighted to announce the start of a new venture which will add to customer experience, increase customer footfall and create one stop shopping.

Tool Hire Enfield

Burdens Hire is a new service that will start trading at Picketts Lock branch on 11th August 2008. It will be headed up by Alan Hanmore who has joined the company bringing with him 25 years experience in the Tool Hire business. Other Burdens depots will be adding the Burdens Hire facility in the future.

Specialist Hire Products

Our specialist range of hire products are tailored to the contractor requirements for civil engineering and construction works. Highlights include the Probst range of tools for handling and laying of paving and slabs. Improve your on site efficiency and safety with the Probst VTK-V all terran paver cart or one of the vacuum slab lifters. Other specialist products such as Electro Fusion pipe jointing kit will also be available. All products are supplied with the correct electrical and manufacturers’ calibration.

Building on the specialist knowledge of the civil engineering market the new team of hire experts will provide technical support to help in selecting the most appropriate tools for your site requirements. Burdens Hire offers a complete package of tools and relevant accessories to help you get the job completed quickly and effectively. All hire products are supplied with instructions.

Job Vacancies

This exciting new business venture has created two vacancies, one for a Hire Manager and one for a Driver/Fitter, based at Picketts Lock branch. Suitable applicants must be self motivated and profit driven. Previous experience is not necessary but a willingness to learn is essential.
