Dorchester

Welcome to Burdens Dorchester. Having opened in the early 1970’s we are the oldest Burdens branch trading from its original site. Originally the stock range was more suited to a traditional builders merchant, but we now stock the full range of civils products you would expect from any Burdens location. With age comes experience and our 17 staff have 246 years of service with Burdens amongst them. Our site is one of the company’s smallest, with 2 small warehouses, just over half an acre of yard space and a Tradestore of approx. 600sq.ft.

Location
Our location in Dorchester is central within our delivery area, which starts at Lyme Regis, runs north to Ilminster, up the A303 to Amesbury and then south to New Milton, including Salisbury, and Ringwood. We run four 6 wheeler, crane offload vehicles to all points of our delivery area, normally within 48 hrs.
