As part of Burdens’ Check ‘em campaign in support of the cancer awareness charity Tenovus, the Company offered to help Nailsea and Backwell Under 13’s 2011 rugby tour by sponsoring their away shirt.

This proved to be something of a double success. Thanks to the hard work of a dedicated group of parents, a
long with the support of other local businesses, the boys not only had a striking new away shirt to wear for their matches, the squad also raised £500 to support the cancer charity as well!

Tenovus offers advice and treatment for cancer patients, information on cancer prevention and funding for research to improve the outcomes for people with cancer where it is needed most - at the heart of the community. If you want to talk to someone about any questions you might have, call Tenovus on 0808 808 1010.
