The “Delivering Sustainable Construction” event held on Tuesday 18th September was a great success. This the first event of its kind by Burdens Environmental was warmly welcomed by contractors, consultants, architects and house builders alike.

The Events Aim
To inform industry professionals with up to date new techniques in sustainable construction methods for the whole life cycle of the built environment. From energy efficient products & new heating/ventilation solutions to waste management and building maintenance. 

Positive Feedback
David Priddis Senior Design & Build Co-ordinator from Kier Group summarised; “I thought the range of talks, breaks to allow demonstrations and visiting the trade stands, the mix of exhibitors, the venue and catering were all excellent.”

A Perfect Venue
Bristol Zoo Gardens provided a perfect location for the event. Spread over 2 floors with an exhibition and practical demonstrations downstairs at times spilling out into the Zoo. And further exhibitors, lecture theatre and lounge area upstairs.

Programme of Events
A mixture of seminars, practical demonstrations and exhibitors with a break for lunch helped keep visitors to the event entertained throughout the day. Twenty minute breaks between seminars enabled visitors to look around the trade stands, watch demonstrations and network with other industry professionals. Click here to view seminar programme.
