New Park Benches and Steel Cycle Stands

Environmental Street Furniture (ESF) recently supplied park benches and a cycle parking solution to Ards Model School in Northern Ireland

Genesis Park Benches
The school purchased 8 Genesis seats from the ESF Simplicity collection, to be utilised by children and adults and to be placed in and around the outdoor area. Some were used in a “quiet zone” and some for the “friendship spot”. The Genesis external park benches are manufactured from cast iron and hard wood for a decorative and long lasting finish.

Stainless Steel Cycle Stands
We’re all aware of the increasing demands on our road networks and the impact of the school run. Ards Model School wanted to ensure its pupils and parents would be safe in the knowledge that students bikes could be housed safely. ESF supplied stainless steel cycle stands. Stainless steel is an ideal material for exterior cycle parking, its corrosion and vandal resistant properties provide a robust and modern cycle parking solution.

Ards Model School, Belfast
Housed in a remarkable building, the Model School opened in July 1862 as one of a number of Model Schools dotted around Northern Ireland. Now it is a popular primary school successfully catering for the school needs of children from Newtownards and beyond. The Principal is Mr J Stewart. The new cycle parking solution and Genesis park benches help to compliment this historic building.
