Burdens supplies twinwall underground electricity duct to the island of St. Helena

28/09/07 - Burdens Dorchester have just received an order for 25 coils (1250 meters) of 50/63mm Floline black twinwall electricity duct. Dorchester have packed this for export, and delivered to Portland Port, Dorset, for onward shipping to St Helena Island. St Helena is situated in the South Atlantic Ocean,1200 miles from the south west coast of Africa, and 1800 miles from the coast of South America.

With delivery to the island expected on the 19th of October 2007, this has to be the slowest delivery ever made from Dorchester, but also the furthest.
