Unison Online – Access Granted - Want to Know More?
Through talking to our customers over the years it became clear that a large amount of time is spent trying to locate business documents such as invoices and statements. Phoning up supplier depots and sales offices trying to locate a certain record that may have been misplaced is not a major problem but is certainly using up someone’s valuable resources which could be used elsewhere.
We felt that we could surely develop a secure system that could enable a customer to see into our back office where all of these documents are stored, thus giving our customer the freedom to access them whenever necessary.
Unison Online was soon born and the immediate feedback we received was very positive, making it as user friendly as possible was crucial and creating clear and simple tabs for the customer to see where each type of document was stored was key.
A crucial point was to ensure that a customer’s back office system needn’t change or need configuring; installing software can be a labour intensive task whilst using time and money. Unison Online is a Web based system, this means it sits on one of Burdens Secure Severs so doesn’t take up space or sit on specific customer personal pc.
