Andrew’s journey through Burdens started 18 years ago as a Trainee Sales Negotiator, looking after the trade counter in our Manchester branch. He has since progressed to Branch Manager and more recently, Sales Operations Manager, North, and Scotland. This journey has given Andrew everything he needs to excel in his latest role as Technical Sales Manager.
At home, Andrew is Dad to two young children and Husband to Emma. A keen football fan and ex-player, Andrew has now entered the frustratingly rewarding world of playing Golf!
Andrew’s achievements over the past 18 years have been numerous and he has been instrumental in launching some of our biggest commercial and sales lead initiatives.
Burdens have a great heritage of providing reliable technical solutions to our customers and we can’t think of a better person to lead our latest value-added offer. The service provided by Andrew and his team will further strengthen our current offering and expand on the existing ‘best in class’ technical service from our sister business, Fusion Utilities.
Andrew’s main focus initially will be Water Management Solutions – from attenuation design to balancing ponds and headwalls; also working closely with the Burdens Geotechnics team to help improve the already fantastic service provided by Mark Gillies and his team.
Working with our customers and preferred supply partners, early engagement is key to achieving the best performing value solution for client contracts.
